Picmiz ! Resize Pictures with tags – Redimensionnement avec Tags

Picmiz ! Is a software I developed quickly for my girlfriend who wanted to tag several (hundreds of) pictures. So I developed Picmiz quickly the interface is minimalist and not so beautiful… any way it does what it was made for!

Guide:

Adding pictures

• With the “add directories button” : it will scan each directories/sub-directories and add all images (jpg/png)
• With the “add images button” : it will add only selected files
• Drag’n drop

Resize properties

You can specify how to resize the images: % or pixels.
Also, you can decide if you want to keep ratio or not.

Ouput

Say if you want to replace originals files or not.
If not, select the output directory. Specify if you want to keep files structures (it will generate a copy of the originals directories).
You can add an extension to the file and you can use $DATE, $TIME or $RES to write real information.
Finally, select the images format.

Tag

If you want, you can add a tag on each picture. Pimiz, will simply print the tag on the images before saving to HD. Transparency is kept so it is preferable to use PNG.

FAQ

I try to add an image but it does nothing, why?
If the file extension (.png, .jpeg) is not correct, your system can open the image but not picmiz. Change the filename and try again.

Guide :

Ajouter des photos

• Avec le bouton “Ajouter un répertoire” : cela ajoutera toutes les images contenue dans les sous répertoires (jpg/png)
• Avec le bouton “Ajouter des fichiers” : cela ajoutera les fichiers sélectionnés uniquement
• Drag’n drop – Glisser/Déposer

Redimensionnement

Vous pouvez spécifier le type de taille : % ou pixels.
De même vous pouvez spécifier si vous souhaitez garder le rapport largeur/hauteur des originales.

Sortie

Indiquez si vous voulez écraser les originaux.
Sinon spécifiez ou mettre les nouvelles images. De même, vous pouvez demander a garder la structure originale des fichiers (répertoires, sous répertoires, etc.).
Vous pouvez ajouter une extension aux fichiers : du texte, $DATE, $TIME ou $RES.
Enfin, sélectionnez le format de sortie que vous souhaitez.

Tag

Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez ajouter un tag sur vos images. Ce tag est ajouté sur toutes les images justes avant l’enregistrement. Il est conseillé de prendre un tag au format png pour utiliser la transparence.

FAQ

J’essaie d’ajouter une image mais il ne se passe rien, pourquoi?
L’extension du fichier (.png, .jpg, …) que vous ajouté est très importante. Même si vous arrivez a voir l’image, cela ne signifie pas que l’extension est bonne. Corrigez la et essayez de nouveau.
